Popular Worldly Nigerian Musician, Davido, Surpass Pastors, Gives N250m Birthday Donations to Orphanage

The Nigerian most popular circular musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, had on Saturday , November 20, 2021, donated N250 million to the orphanage.

The top Nigerian circular singer took to his verified instagram page on 17th November,calling on his friends and fans to support his 29th birthday coming on 21 November.

With a registered Wema Bank account number, the artist jokingly called on his friends and fans to send him 1 million saying, " I have always been in the position of lifting others now I want the love to be returned."

According to the supper star on his instagram stories , within 10 minutes of making the statement , he received N7 million. Davido forged ahead to say that the challenge was N100 million .

Later on Saturday , November 20th, in a press statement released on his instagram handle. The music star said the total amount of the donation is N200 million.

He donated all to the orphanage. Despite the level of his show of kindness, the birthday celebrant exitedly donated personal N50 million to make it a total of N250 million and said, it will all go as donations to orphanages accros Nigeria.

The celebrity star said his aim is to make the donation a yearly tradition and to give back to the society. He went ahead and thanked everyone who contributed to the propriety brouhaha.

With his birthday being a sensational climax, fans said, Davido have made a world record compared to other top stars and some religious leaders in Nigeria and has hit the Guinness World Records Book.
