The 25-year-old Suleiman Muhammed is the Future

It could be recalled that, on the just concluded People's Democratic Party National convention, election was conducted which in the end, the office of the National Youth Leader was given to Suleiman Muhammed, a 25-year-old man, who won the election.

This will work well for the party. The People's Democratic party requires such a young adult to occupy such office. Gone are those days Nigeria used to flood her offices with old ages who may not know what's best for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Suleiman Muhammed in his speech, “I symbolise both the content and character of the office I’m vying for. Over the years, our great party — PDP — has been the subject of mockery and ridicule by the opposition, especially when persons considered to be old bread emerged as our national youth leaders."

“I have a strong belief and conviction that without a strong visionary youth leadership to mobilise the youth no strategy will be executed effectively.”

Suleiman have good intentions for Nigeria and he is ever willing to lead.

The vanguard newspaper in it report on October 11, 2021," According to population projections by the United Nations, about 62 percent of the Nigerian population are below the age  of 25 years. By contrast, less than 5 percent is aged 60 years and above."

"It is a known fact that young people constitute over 60% of the Nigerian population and it is this class of the population that has borne the brunt of the systematic annihilation of the Nigerian economy by the APC led administration of General Mohammadu Buhari."

"Available data indicates that Nigeria’s total unemployment rate rose to 33.30% in Q1 2021 from 27.10% in Q2 2020, and of the population, unemployed youth accounted for 53.4% in Q1 2021 from 40.8%."

"Young people in the PDP are yearning to be part of the solution that will librate our nation from the shackles of poverty, hopelessness, joblessness and insecurity. The energy, the drive, the passion to succeed, the innovation and invention of new ideas and ways of doing things is a major defining trait among young people."

From the statistics shown, it is clear that Nigeria and Nigerians have been reduced to nothingness . This brings a necessary call for Nigerian youths to rise on their feet in politics.

Suleiman Muhammed is a future that has been met. This is one of the best things to ever happened to Nigeria and PDP. The time is here that  Nigerian Political system should  be flooded with vibrant youths like Suleiman.

Nigerian youths are tired of following over aged leaders.

It is clear that Nigerian Youths are now yearning to rule Nigeria and the doors are now opening as it has happened.

Nigeria will be a better place if the youths continue being in better offices like this. The elders can't do without the youths. In this case , youths are important and should be considered more in political offices .

Nigerian youths are not lazy. They are intelligent with brilliant ideas.

It is time to let go of old ages in political

 positions.
