The Class Representative of the out going Mass Communication HND Graduands, Heritage Polytechnic, Uyobong Mbeh has disclosed that, the class donated a first-hand imported printer/photo copier machine on behalf of the  department as a legacy to the school.

Mbeh made this known to  the department   after the students’ final examination on Tuesday, July 26, while the graduands were celebrating the arrival of the machine. Mbeh said: “ on behalf of the class, we present this token from our heart to the department and the entire school. It is  our own little way of thanking the Founder of the school Dr. Emmanuel Ekott, the Management, the Department and the lecturers for standing with us till this day."

Confirming the donation, the Senior Lecturer to Mass Communication Department, Ifeanyi Nwokeocha thanked the students for being so thoughtful and encouraged them to continue being useful to the society.

Speaking on behalf of the department, the active Head of Mass Communication Department, Esther George  addressed the act as an epitome of good conduct and gratefulness. She advised the graduands to continue in loyalty that it will lead them to greatness.

The active Head in her words, “ the founder of the school, Dr. Emmanuel Ekott will be happy about this,” she added.

Mbeh thanked the department and the school for accepting the donation adding that the target was N2million  donation but a lot of  the class members failed to comply.
