A'Ibom 2023 Governorship Race:Between Obong Bassey Albert ,Uduak Udo,Umo Eno, Akan Udofia, Who will you vote?

 

Who is the chosen one?

The 2023 guber race in Akwa Ibom has  become tougher and competitive than in previous times. The question of who will win the race is unpredictable, even the state, and supporters of these candidates are thrown to dane of confusion as to who could be the chosen one with stories labelling them  with bad pictures.

Now, let us assess these candidates one after the other .

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate ,Umo Eno has not been in politics before. He came from the chuch system and commercial field. His experience in the field is limited. People said he is a cultist and in the same cult with his boss, governor Udom Emmanuel. Eno was alleged to have forged his Secondary School Certificate. The same person  imposed payment of tithe on his church members but fails to pay his staffs when due. We are also aware that his boss, governor Udom Emmanuel forcefully brought him on the people of Akwa Ibom for reasons of covering his mess and so Akwa Ibomites will continue to be fooled. Eno is seen not to be the choice of Akwa Ibom people. Not long ago, he was withdrawn  from the 2023 guber race by INEC for reasons of flouting the INEC rules in his primaries of which he was reported to court by his counterpart, Micheal Enyong. 

That's  not withstanding, Eno can not put his family in order, he is not steak to his wife, rather, surrounds himself with mistresses. You may want to inqure about how his first son behaves. Can a man who can't put his family together leads a state that is way bigger than a family?

His boss who chose him to be his successor could not pay gratuity, leave grants, promotion arrears, promote education and health system. His boss  is not faithful with money, this means the successor may likely  work in the same manner because two can't walk together except they agree.

The Labour Party (LP) candidate Uduak Udo, came in an angelic form with pretentious life hiding under the grace of Mr Peter Obi, is seen to be a person of same caucus but operate undercover with an intention to deceive people. So much lessons have been learnt in the just concluded Presidential election, when people who claimed to be the messiah, embezzled funds sent to the Labour Party by H.E Mr Peter Obi. What more lessons can be more than that? The same person conspired with Lincoln Charles, LP state chairman to squander the first 30milion naira donated by Obi when he rallied in Uyo is the same person who is busy telling  voters to vote him. People said Uduak abuses people a lot.

The All Progresive Congress (APC) candidate, Akan Udofia, is known to have made a consequential order mandating INEC to accept his candidacy . But, fortunate enough the INEC played him wised. The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had earlier dismissed the motion seeking to compel INEC to recognize Udofia as APC Gubernatorial candidate. 

Even at these rejections,  Udofia still parades himself to be an APC governorship candidate. What are these people upto, are these the kind of people we should entrust our dear state with? Aside these, Udofia has been divorced. He's a single father.

The Young Progressive Party (YPP), Obong Bassey Albert, has come out clearly from a neutral ground stating his intentions to lead the people of Akwa Ibom to the long awaiting future where youths will empowered, leave grants, promotion arrears, gratuity will be paid, and the state will be freed from cultism.

You could see from the track records of the YPP candidate, he has given over 600 scholarships to students across the state.

Who will you vote?
