Kaduna State Tasked Corp Members to Implement their Skills and promote the national interest of Nigeria |
Corp members have been advised to utilise the experience, knowledge and skills they acquired in their orientation course to promote national unity of Nigeria and to be gainfully employed.
The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, ably represented by the Chairman National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) State Governing Board, Rabi Salisu on the closing ceremony of the 2023 Batch-B Stream 2 Orientation Exercise advised the passing out corp members at the temporary orientation camp, Kurmin Mashi in Kaduna to be creative and exlpore unconditional avenues for their personal skills through out their service year.
Salisu continued that , the corp members should embrace the national integration of the NYSC and respect the diverse cultures and traditions of their host communities.
Addressing the corp members, the NYSC state coordinator, Hassan Taura, thanked the corp members for a successful completion of their orientation course and tasked them to implement the skills gained in the orientation exercise to contribute remarkably to the development and growth of the country and uphold the ideas of the NYSC.
Corroborating such assertions, some of the corp members who were at the closing ceremony, Ahmed Sani and Blessing Johnson said they have benefited from the NYSC programs such as the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED), and promised to expand their skill set.
Recall, on the 18th August 2023, the management of the NYSC kaduna State received a total of 1,347 corp members comprising of 684 females and 663 males into the Batch-B Stream 2 orientation exercise, therefore the representative of the Kaduna State Governor, Salisu urged all heads of government and private organizations to treat the corp members as their sons and daughters.
