As the death of Mohbad continued to generate mix reactions, Nigerians have called on government to regulate record labels.
The popular Nigerian afro beat singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known professionally as Mohbad died at the age of 27 on 12th September after a handful of first aid in Lagos.

It was gathered that, one week after the demise of Mohbad, his songs made it to the coveted Billboard music chart for the first time. Billboard recently shared their hot trending songs music chart powered by Twitter, now known as X, and the afro beat star cinched three spots out of the top 10 songs listed.
Tracing the root cause of the death of the Imole singer and other stars who had suffered bullies from record label owners, fans have therefore plead that, record label managers should see their artistes as friends and called on government to monitor the music industry.
