The Independence National Electoral Commssion (INEC) Multipurpose Society, Kaduna State Chapter is giving back to  society through youth Empowerment and voter sensitisation. 

The President of  the society, Umar Buhari Ali revealed this  in Kaduna at its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited is an in-house body set up to aid members needs and by extension other members of the society. 

The Kaduna State Chapter of the body held her 9th  AGM at the Crystal Garden to celebrate remarkable achievements since inception. 

He spoke on the financial position of the Cooperative for this year as against the year 2021 as well the asset and liabilities.

Ali said the Cooperative has built a Multipurpose Canteen as a way of  giving back to the society.

He furthered reiterated that, with the dividend of the cooperative, the establishment will empower youths, carry out voters sensitization to help the political future of the state.

Corroborating such assertions,  Head of Unit Voter Education,  Aisha Baila'u  said the establishment is in a collaborative effort with the state government to produce credible, capacity and competent leaders in the state.

The INEC Head, General Administration and Procurement officer, Hajia Habiba Abubakar representing the Secretary of the Cooperative Society advised members of the cooperative to continue in the spirit of unity to move the establishment to an expected level.

Hajia Abubakar stressed that the Cooperative is not for selfish interest but to further challenge of the masses for a quick intervention.

They called on all members of the establishment to support the leaders who have been on board for 3-years to achieve remarkable results in future.
