Fire Razes NYSC State Secretariat's Conference Room, Damaged Valuable Items

NYSC Valuables and Corp Members Donations Lost in a fire outbreak 

The NYSC Kaduna State Secretariat has lost its Conference Room in a fire incident and other valuables owned by corp members 

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) State Secretariat has lost its conference room following a fire outbreak that occured on March 27th, at about 3:pm.

The inferno razed chairs donated by the NYSC Community Development Service (CDS) clubs and other valuables by corp members living in the compound who left their items at the conference room.

Mix reactions surged when the NYSC State coordinator, Hassan Taura in a curiosity to know the cause of the incident and blamed the corp members who reside in the compound for failing to rescue the building. The corp members said, Taura aggressively took their state codes at the time of visiting the scene.

The state coordinator alleged that , the corp members are the cause of the  inferno, while the corp members said that they are innocent and suspected that one of the NYSC casual staffs mistakenly set the building ablaze in an effort to get rid of refuse around the building.

Although, the building had long been dilapidated, many bigwigs suggested that it was long due for renovation. However, the corper members have pleaded that the state coordinator should have mercy on them.
